With Toy Story 4 currently sitting on top the box office charts, many are asking what Toy Story content will be on the upcoming streaming service, Disney+.

Currently, Disney has only confirmed that the first three Toy Story movies will be available on Disney+ when it launches on November 12th.

The original Toy Story was released in 1995 and was the first full length Pixar movie released.   It was also the first computer generated movie released and it introduced the world to characters like Woody and Buzz Lightyear.

Toy Story 2 was originally going to be released “straight to video”, but Disney felt the quality was too good for it not to go to theaters.  The movie introduced new characters including Jessie, Bullseye and Stinky Pete.

Toy Story 3 introduced more characters such as Lotso and went onto become one of the highest grossing animated movies of all time.

Disney has also confirmed Toy Story 4 will be coming to Disney+ within the first year of the new streaming service operating, so it should be available to stream in early 2020.

During April’s Investor Day, it was revealed Forky would be getting his own spin-off series, “Forky Asks A Question”, which will consist of 10 short episodes.  In these episodes, “Forky asks important questions about how the world works, such as: What is love? What is time? And of course, the deepest question of all, What is cheese?”  This series will be available on Disney+ at launch.

Another short, called “Lamp Life”, which is an all-new animated short film that is exclusive to Disney+ and will answer the question about where Bo was since we last we saw her in Toy Story 2.

However not every piece of Toy Story content has been confirmed for Disney+ yet, such as Toy Story shorts such as Short Fry, Toy Story Of Horror, Toy Story That Time Forgot, Partysaurus Rex and Hawaiian Vacation.   It was said at the Investors Day event that all the Pixar shorts would be on Disney+ and all of these are currently available in the U.K. and Ireland on DisneyLife.

There was also an animated series including Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, so hopefully these will also be added to the new streaming service.
