It’s the weekend and if your after some ideas on what to watch on Disney+, here are a few suggestions to check out.

Marvel’s Assembled: Making Of WandaVision

If you’ve been a fan of the smash-hit Disney+ Original series “WandaVision”, this new hour long documentary gives us a sneak peek behind the curtain on how they made the series, including the costumes, special effects, sets and much more.  The series was crazy and this special documentary shows how the team behind the series had lots of fun recreating the classic sitcom eras.   Check out my full review

Own The Room

This new National Geographic documentary from the team behind “Science Fair,” follows five young star students who are trying to win one of the world’s most prestigious competitions for student entrepreneurs with a $100,000 grand prize.  The five students come from around the world and have all overcome immense obstacles in pursuit of their dreams, from hurricanes to poverty to civil unrest.  If you’re a fan of “Shark Tank”, this one could be for you, it’s a interesting story of five young business people.  Check out my full review by clicking here

Miss Peringrem’s Home For Particular Children

This Tim Burton film was added to Disney+ this past week in the US and Canada.  A young boy named Jake discovers a house full of children with supernatural powers run by Miss Peregrine. Soon, he must help protect their home from terrifying enemies called Hollowgasts.  It’s a very interesting film, that feels like a alternative reality of the X-Men.  I really enjoyed this one.

This week, Disney released the first episode of a new series called “neXt” and having just watched the first episode, the premise of the series got its claws into me. The show focuses on Silicon Valley pioneer Paul LeBlanc, who discovers that one of his own creations — a powerful A.I. called NEXT — might spell doom for humankind, so he tries to shutter the project, only to be kicked out of the company by his own brother, leaving him with nothing but mounting dread about the fate of the world. When a series of unsettling tech mishaps points to a potential worldwide crisis, LeBlanc joins forces with Special Agent Shea Salazar, whose strict moral code and sense of duty have earned her the respect of her team. Now, LeBlanc and Salazar are the only ones standing in the way of a potential global catastrophe, fighting an emergent super intelligence that, instead of launching missiles, will deploy the immense knowledge it has gleaned from the data to recruit allies, turn people against each other and eliminate obstacles to its own survival and growth.

Captain America: Civil War

With the first episode of new Marvel series “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” coming to Disney+ on Friday, if you’ve got a little time on your hands, rather than just watching the highlights in the latest episodes of “Legends”, why not check out the whole film.  “Civil War” introduces both the Black Panther and Spider-Man into the MCU but is also the film that introduces the main villain of the upcoming Disney+ series, Baron Zemo.
