At this weekends 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards, Marve’s “WandaVision” dominated the event, picking up multiple awards for the Disney+ series.  With another Disney+ Marvel series, “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” also picking up multiple awards.

“WandaVision” won three awards:

  • Best Show
  • Best Performance In A Show – Elizabeth Olsen
  • Best Villain – Kathryn Hahn
  • Best Fight – Wanda vs. Agatha

Hahn and Olsen both took to the stage together to accept the award and thanked the show’s fans for voting for the,


“We are so proud, the two of us, on behalf of this show and this crew for this incredible honor. Thank you”

While “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” won the following awards:

  • Best Hero: Anthony Mackie
  • Best Duos: Anthony Mackie And Sebastian Stan

Also during the awards, Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson received the Generation Award—an honour that celebrates beloved actors for their contributions to film and television. Johansson joins an iconic roster of actors who previously received the award including Sandra Bullock, Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr, Jamie Foxx, Dwayne Johnson, Mike Myers, Chris Pratt, Adam Sandler, Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg and Reese Witherspoon, among others.


Marvel’s Black Panther actor, Chadwick Boseman, also won the award for Best Male Performance in a movie for his work on “Ma Rainey’s Black Botto”.
