Walt Disney Records will be releasing two albums for the upcoming Pixar movie, “Soul”, which is coming to Disney+ on Christmas Day.

One of the albums will include the film’s original score, which has been composed by Academy Award winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, from Nine Inch Nails, which drifts between the real and soul worlds.    They have previously worked on movies such as “The Social Network”, “Watchmen”, “Gone Girl” and “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.

There will also be another album, featuring jazz compositions and arrangements by Jon Batiste, who is the leader of the band for the Late Show with Stephen Colber.

Both albums will be released on December 18th, which is just ahead of the films release date.  They will also be released on vinyl format on December 18th.  These can be pre-ordered now from retailers including Amazon

More details on these two album releases should be made available closer to the release of the movie on December 25th.

Are you looking forward to seeing “Soul”?
