Disney has announced that it will be bringing the 2014 Toy Story short “Toy Story That Time Forgot” will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 8th January 2021.

During a post-Christmas play date, the gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It’s all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie’s room in this Toy Story That Time Forgot.

This short originally aired on ABC on December 2nd 2014. It was written and directed by Sam & Max creator Steve Purcelland produced by Galyn Susman. Michael Giacchino composed the music for the special.

“Toy Story That Time Forgot” is already available on Disney+ in some countries.

    Part of me wishes it came out in time for Christmas but, ultimately, it takes place after Christmas anyway and it's a freakin' Toy Story film coming to Disney+. Better late than never. All we need are the ABC bumpers and the Buzz Lightyear cartoon but, really, I think this completes the major portion of the Toy Story franchise :)
