Toy Story 4 Wins Best Animated Feature At The Oscars
The 92nd Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, with the Walt Disney Company picked up a number of awards.
Toy Story 4 won the Best Animated Feature award, beating out Missing Link and Netflix’s Klaus. This is the second Toy Story movie to win an Oscar and was the 13th time this award has gone to a Disney movie.
Randy Newman also took to the stage to perform the song, “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away” from the movie.
Toy Story 4 is available now to stream on Disney+.
Other Oscar winners from the Walt Disney Studios included Searchlight Pictures JoJo Rabbit picking up Best Adapted Screenplay.
And 20th Century Studios Ford Vs Ferrari picked up two awards for Best Film Editing and Best Sound Editing.
Parasite was the biggest winner at the awards, picking up 4 Oscars including Best Picture, with 1917 picking up three awards. While Renee Zellweger won best actress for playing Judy Garland in Judy and Joaquin Phoenix won the best actor award for Joker. And Brad Pitt and Laura Dern both won in the Best supporting acting award categories.
