Each month, we take a look at what are the most popular series globally on Disney+, which is tracked daily on the trending list and takes into consideration how popular a show is and how long it has been popular on Disney+. This means that shows released earlier in the month tend to perform better on this chart.

“Olaf Presents” is the biggest new entry on the trending charts this month, with “Hawkeye” also doing well considering it’s only been out a week.  “The Simpsons” continues to be the biggest draw on Disney+ around the world.

Many of the more established series continue to be a huge draw internationally on Disney+, with mature shows from Star such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Family Guy” consistently being some of the most viewed shows on the platform.

Here’s the most popular series on Disney+ globally in November 2021:

(Note – Titles availability does vary between countries)

1) The Simpsons

This classic animated sitcom is one of the most popular series on Disney+. It’s set in Springfield, the average American town, the show focuses on the antics and everyday adventures of the Simpson family; Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, as well as a virtual cast of thousands. Since the beginning, the series has been a pop culture icon, attracting hundreds of celebrities to guest star. The show has also made name for itself in its fearless satirical take on politics, media and American life in general. There are 31 seasons of this show, with over 700 episodes, making it the perfect binge show to watch on Disney+.

2) Olaf Presents

Olaf steps into the spotlight and goes from snowman to showman as he takes on the roles of producer, actor, costumer and set builder for his unique “retelling” of five favorite Disney animated tales in “Olaf Presents,” a series of new animated shorts from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The charismatic and versatile Olaf demonstrates his theatrical flair, taking on such iconic roles as a mermaid, a genie, a lion king (and most of the parts in between), as he entertains Arendelle with his delightful abbreviated versions of these beloved tales.

3) Grey’s Anatomy

Follows the personal and professional lives of a group of doctors at Seattle’s Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. This is one of the longest-running shows from ABC and is continuously a top trending show on Disney+ in many countries, especially with new episodes from season 18 being released weekly in some countries.

4) Marvel’s What If?

“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles.

5) Loki

Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new Disney+ series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. This was the biggest new release of the summer and has continued to pull in viewers since its debut in June.

6) Family Guy

Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and Freakin’ Sweet animated series featuring the adventures of the dysfunctional Griffin family. Bumbling Peter and long-suffering Lois have three kids. Stewie (a brilliant but sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and taking over the world), Meg (the oldest, and is the most unpopular girl in town) and Chris (the middle kid, he’s not very bright but has a passion for movies). The final member of the family is Brian – a talking dog and much more than a pet, he keeps Stewie in check whilst sipping Martinis and sorting through his own life issues. This is another extremely popular series internationally on Disney+, especially with brand new episodes being released weekly in many countries.

7) Hawkeye

Marvel Studios’ “Hawkeye” stars Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who teams up with another well-known archer from the Marvel comics, Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. This series only debuted on Disney+ late in November and with more episodes coming in December, we should expect this series to go higher up the trending chart next month.

8) Criminal Minds

An elite group of profilers analyse the nation’s most dangerous criminal minds to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.  This classic series is also extremely popular in the US, regularly topping the Nielsen streaming chart.

9) The Walking Dead

After being in a coma, Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes wakes up to find the world in ruins. The dead have risen from the grave and society as he knew it has collapsed. He must lead a group of survivors as they do whatever they can to survive the walking dead. The Walking Dead is adapted from the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. All 10 seasons are available on Disney+ in many countries including the UK, Japan, Singapore and across Europe, with the first third of the 11th and finale season also being available in some countries.

10) The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. Both seasons are available on Disney+ and this series continues to be a huge draw for subscribers.
