Each month, we take a look at what are the most popular series globally on Disney+, which is tracked daily on the trending list and takes into consideration how popular a show is and how long it has been popular on Disney+. This means that shows released earlier in the month tend to perform better on this chart.
Shows like “Bluey” continue to be the most popular shows on Disney+, since kids generally rewatch these shows over and over, keeping them in the trending chart constantly.
Internationally, more mature shows from Star such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Family Guy” are consistently the most viewed shows on the platform. While Argentina’s Disney football drama series “Once” is also extremely popular with Disney+ subscribers in Latin America.

1) The Simpsons
This classic animated sitcom is one of the most popular series on Disney+. It’s set in Springfield, the average American town, the show focuses on the antics and everyday adventures of the Simpson family; Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, as well as a virtual cast of thousands. Since the beginning, the series has been a pop culture icon, attracting hundreds of celebrities to guest star. The show has also made name for itself in its fearless satirical take on politics, media and American life in general. There are 31 seasons of this show, with almost 700 episodes, making it the perfect binge show to watch on Disney+.
Bluey follows the adventures of a lovable and inexhaustible six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her dad, mum and four-year-old little sister, Bingo. In every episode, Bluey uses her limitless Blue Heeler energy to play elaborate games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways. Much like “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”, this show is watched repeatably by younger audiences.
3) Grey’s Anatomy
Follows the personal and professional lives of a group of doctors at Seattle’s Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. This is one of the longest running shows from ABC and is continuiously a top trending show on Disney+ in many countries.
“Jessie” is your typical fish-out-of-water story. Jessie is a small-town teen who leaves her Texas roots to take a job as a nanny for the Ross family’s four precocious kids in New York. Heading the family are the parents: supermodel-turned-business mogul Christina and movie director Morgan. The oldest of the four children, teenager Emma, is the only biological child of the bunch. Her three brothers and sisters are all adopted — American adoptee Luke, Indian adoptee Ravi and African adoptee Zuri. While watching four kids can be challenging for a teenager, Jessie has help in the form of the family’s butler, Bertram, and the building’s 20-year-old doorman, Tony. Adding to Jessie’s challenging task is the family’s pet, a 7-foot Asian water monitor lizard. Jessie is one of the most popular Disney Channel shows on Disney+.
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new Disney+ series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. This was the biggest new release of the summer and has continued to pull in viewers since its debut in June.
6) Marvel’s What If?
“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. This is the biggest new entry onto the trending chart this month.
The series revolves around Gabo, a soccer-loving teenager who, upon receiving a scholarship from the prestigious Sports Academic Institute (IAD) of Buenos Aires, will see his dream of playing at Los Halcones Dorados, the renowned amateur team of the school, and also his longing to become a professional footballer.
8) Family Guy
Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and Freakin’ Sweet animated series featuring the adventures of the dysfunctional Griffin family. Bumbling Peter and long-suffering Lois have three kids. Stewie (a brilliant but sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and taking over the world), Meg (the oldest, and is the most unpopular girl in town) and Chris (the middle kid, he’s not very bright but has a passion for movies). The final member of the family is Brian – a talking dog and much more than a pet, he keeps Stewie in check whilst sipping Martinis and sorting through his own life issues. This is another extremely popular series internationally on Disney+.
9) Criminal Minds
An elite team of FBI profilers analyze the country’s most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit’s most experienced agent is David Rossi, a founding member of the BAU who returns to help the team solve new cases. Globally, Criminal Minds is one of the most binge-watched shows on any streaming platform.
10) Monsters At Work
Six months after the events of Monsters, Inc., the city of Monstropolis is now fueled with the sound of laughter. Tylor Tuskmon, a mechanic on the Facilities Team, dreams of working alongside his idols Mike Wazowski and James P. Sulley Sullivan.
