In another surprise removal from Disney+, the 2021 version of “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” has now been removed from Disney+ and Hulu in the United States.

While it’s not uncommon for holiday specials to be removed from Disney+, as this has happened before, the sad thing about this removal, is that the special only got added on Christmas Eve. It only lasted on Disney+ for just over a week.

The special originally aired on ABC in late November 2021, so hopefully, next year, the special is added onto Disney+ much quicker to give subscribers a little longer to watch it before it’s removed.

Unlike other streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t announce its removals in advance, so subscribers have no idea something is going to leave, until it’s gone.

This holiday special offered some heartwarming moments and exclusive sneak peeks at what’s new around The Walt Disney Company, including a preview of the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, which is opening on March 1st 2022, at Walt Disney World Resort plus performances from Kristin Chenoweth, Darren Criss and Gwen Stefani.
