At the end of the season two finale of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian”, Disney announced a brand new Disney+ Original series called “The Book Of Boba Fett”, which will see Temeura Morrison return in the role of the bounty hunter, with Ming-Na Wen also returning as Fennec Shand.
According to Bespin Bulletin, filming on the upcoming Disney+ series is beginning to wrap up as “the sets have since been taken down” at the train yard location in Los Angeles. This location is also where “The Mandalorian” filmed some scenes for its first two seasons, and there will also be some scenes from Season 3 shot there.
Filming could still be continuing to take place inside the virtual studio “The Volume”, but some of Bespin Bulletin’s sources have stated that many of the different departments and companies involved in the show’s production “have really ramped up to meet deadlines, many of which are for this [April].”
While nothing has yet been officially confirmed, filming wrapping up soon makes sense if the show is to make its December release date.
Filming on the third season of “The Mandalorian” is set to commence after “The Book Of Boba Fett” is finished. Characters from “The Mandalorian” are also expected to make appearances in the new show.
