The Television Critics Association is hosting its Winter Press Tour this month and Disney is taking part in the event, with multiple days being dedicated to Disney’s television studios.  We’ve already seen many announcements from ABC, including the renewal of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19”.

On Friday 14th January 2022, the main focus of the TCA 22 press tour will be on Disney+.

Due to the current situation with the pandemic, the event is taking place virtually and the presentations are only for members of the TCA.   So it won’t be live-streamed, however, that doesn’t mean the information from the event won’t be revealed publically.

Currently, we know there will be details on:

  • The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder
  • The Book Of Boba Fett
  • National Geographic’s Earth Day line up

It’s unknown what else will be announced during the event, with lots of series heading to Disney+ in the coming weeks

Also generally, these TCA events are focused on American audiences, so information on international Star Originals is unlikely.

At last year’s TCA Winter Press Tour, Disney+ unveiled the Spring and Summer premiere dates for many shows including “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” Marvel Studios’ “Loki,” “The Mysterious Benedict Society,” “Monsters At Work,” “Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life,” “Turner & Hooch”,  “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” and Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zenimation.”

It’s also important to remember, that Disney announced lots of release dates for these shows last year, but did end up changing the release schedule a bit, so it’s not guaranteed that Disney will do the same again this year.

There will also be more information coming out on other days during the Press tour for Hulu, FX, National Geographic and Disney Branded Television in the coming weeks ahead.

We will be covering all of the news that comes out of the TCA event throughout the day.

What are you hoping is revealed?
