Filming on the upcoming Disney+ series “Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett” has already wrapped, and thanks to a recent interview with Temuera Morrison while promoting his new science-fiction film Occupation: Rainfall, we now know a little more about who is directing this new series.
The actor, who plays Boba Fett and the Clone Troopers in the Star Wars Universe, said:
“We’ve got some great directors onboard – Robert Rodriguez, Favreau, Bryce [Dallas Howard], Dave Filoni. It’s just a new world! It’s a new world. They like to keep the Star Wars stuff under [lock and] key.”
Temuera Morrison also praised the shows creator Jon Favreau and how his experience with the Marvel Cinematic Universe if helping the Star Wars films and shows, adding:
“But, I think we’re blessed in the way Favreau has all that Marvel experience, so we know where those storylines go. Let’s see what happens.”
He was also asked about a potential second season of “The Book Of Boba Fett”, which he replied:
“I think they’ll have to consider some things… The tree is still growing. They’ll probably want to test the waters first, there’s been no talk about it.”
“The Book of Boba Fett” will be set within the timeline of The Mandalorian and star Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter, along with Ming-Na Wen, who will be returning as the bounty hunter, Fennec Shand.
“Star Wars: The Book Of Boba Fett” is coming to Disney+ in December 2021.
