Disney released the first season of the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” on Disney+ earlier this year and confirmed that a second season would be coming at a later date.
“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
Recently, Michelle Ang, who provides the voice for Omega in the series , shared a photo on her Instagram showing her in a recording studio working on the second season.
“In a proper studio for the first time in forever to tidy up some work on the The Bad Batch. Amazing how our team can connect from across the world and during a lockdown.”
With this confirming that the recording is for “tidying up” and shows us a small hint of the upcoming series, hopefully, it won’t be too long until the series arrives on Disney+.
2022 is going to be a bumper year for Star Wars content on Disney+, with multiple series set to be released including “The Book Of Boba Fett”, “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Andor”, along with the second season of “The Bad Batch”
The entire first season of “The Bad Batch” is available to stream now on Disney+.
Are you looking forward to the return of “The Bad Batch”?
