Today, Disney announced the lineup for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event, which is taking place from May 26th to 29th, 2022, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

In the schedule, Disney has confirmed that a brand new animated short series called “Tales Of The Jedi” will be coming soon.

Here are the details of the panel:

Tales of the Jedi

Live on the Celebration Stage; streamed to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages

Introducing Tales of the Jedi, animated anthology shorts. Hosted by Amy Ratcliffe with special guest Dave Filoni.

Saturday 28th May – 4:00PM – 5:00PM

No other details have been announced about this new animated, such as if this series of shorts will be released online on YouTube or if it’s a Disney+ Original series.  With Dave Filoni being involved and the panel being an hour-long, it does increase the chances of “Tales Of The Jedi” being a Disney+ Original series.

Last year, the title of the series was revealed when an image of the Lucasfilm holiday gift showed some logos of a number of projects currently in development.

“Tales Of The Jedi” was also the name of a Dark Horse comic book series from the 1990s.

What do you think “Tales Of The Jedi” is going to be?
