Earlier this year, during a special Star UK launch event, Disney announced it would be making over 50 original shows for Disney+ in the United Kingdom and across Europe in the next five years.
So far, Disney has announced 10 European Originals for Disney+, which will be made in France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, including ” “Parallels”, “The Ignorant Angels”, and ‘The Good Mothers’. With many British Disney+ Originals already announced, including “Extraordinary“, “Save Our Squad”, “Culprits”, and “The Ballad of Renegade Nell“.
According to The Illuminerdi, Disney is developing a new series called “The Garden”, which will be released as Star Original.
David Farr will be serving as a writer and an executive producer on the series.
“The Garden” will likely be filmed in London in early 2022 and will consist of 8 episodes.
The logline of this new show describes the plot as detailing a man accused of killing his estranged wife. However, it turns out that she’s really in hiding as secrets reveal themselves through her murder investigation.
Many of the Star Originals will be released as Hulu Originals in the United States, though Disney hasn’t officially announced any details on this new series yet.
