Disney+ is launching on Tuesday March 24th in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland.

While most users shouldn’t have an issue with the launch, there is bound to be some issues, especially with so many people expected to use Disney+ since they are at home.

However Disney has announced via social media that users may have difficulty contacting them:

Due to the impact of COVID-19, we’ve had to close some of our Disney+ customer service centres & expect longer than normal wait times for live chat/phone support this week. For answers to common questions & tips to navigate Disney+, visit our Help Centre:

When Disney+ launched in the United States, the customer service centres were struggling to deal with all the problems that users had. Though the majority of them were caused by users forgetting their usernames and passwords.

So if you do have an issue, please take the current situation into account.

jesus, they can't catch a break at all. this is going to be another catastrophic launch, I'm calling it now. I get they are a rich rich company and so people say I shouldn't feel bad for them, but this service has been one mess after another, some of it is their fault for launching 1 year too early and not assigning enough people to tech support and not putting enough focus on fixing the existing issues (most of which remain, to this daay, COUGH episodes out of order / aspect ratio COUGH. Barely any new features have been added in 5 months, except the "continue watching" row. That's not a good thing. But now things are out of their hands. The very last-minute delays in France and India at a time when the service would have been making a lot of sales due to people *needing* entertainment, launching at lower bandwidth which is just making people angry, and not even having enough staff to help with tech issues that WILL arise because it's a new service launch... It's like the fates just want this to fail.
