During a virtual question-and-answer session at the Goldman Sachs 30th Annual Communacopia Conference, Disney’s CEO Bob Chapek confirmed the release date of “Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ring” on Disney+.
It will be released on Friday 12th November
This will also be Disney+ Day, which will see Disney reveal lots of new information about upcoming Disney+ releases. On the same day, Disney is also releasing “Jungle Cruise” and “Home Sweet Home Alone”.
Marvel Studios’ “Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
“Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings” is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
The film is currently available exclusively in cinemas for 45 days, but Disney has decided to keep the film back a little longer to benefit Disney+ Day.
