From Tuesday 23rd, Disney+ will be rolling out new parental controls, which will allow profiles to be set to a different level.

Unfortunately, Disney+ has had a small glitch just ahead of the launch of new parental controls and the addition of new mature content internationally as part of the new general entertainment brand “Star”.

Some content has now become unavailable in some countries including the United Kingdom. The main titles impacted so far are “Marvel’s Agents Of Shield” and “The Wolverine”, which are both rated 16+ on Disney+.

Disney+ currently only has a default profile and a kids profile.  The current basic profile is set to the default 14+ rating, so we can’t see content rated above 14+.

I expect this problem to be sorted on Tuesday 23rd February, when subscribers can select profiles to offer content suitable for over 16’s.

From Tuesday 23rd February, you’ll find the age rating settings within the profile settings within Disney+.
