Scott Foley Joins Cast Of Third Season Of “Will Trent”
Just ahead of the return of the hit series, “Will Trent”, Disney has revealed that Scott Foley has joined the cast for the third season.
Based on Karin Slaughter’s New York Times bestselling “Will Trent” series, Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Now, Will uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI.
Scott Foley will be playing the role of Dr. Seth McDale, the confident and down-to-earth head of emergency medicine at a local hospital and will be the new romantic interest for Angie.
He has previously starred in the hit ABC series, “Scandal”, along with “Felicity”, “Scream 3” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
“Will Trent” stars Ramón Rodríguez as Will Trent, Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski, Iantha Richardson as Faith Mitchell, Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood, with Sonja Sohn as Amanda Wagner and Gina Rodriguez as Marion Alba.
Executive producers are Liz Heldens, Dan Thomsen, Karin Slaughter and Oly Obst. Ramón Rodríguez is a producer. The pilot episode is written by Liz Heldens & Dan Thomsen, and directed and executive produced by Paul McGuigan.
The third season of “Will Trent” will return on Tuesday 7th January 2025 on ABC, with new episodes available the following day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. No international Disney+ release details for the third season have been announced yet.
The previous two seasons of “Will Trent” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
