This past Thursday, Scarlett Johansson was honoured at the 35th annual American Cinematheque and during the event, it was revealed that she is currently working with Marvel Studios on another project.

Following this year’s very public legal dispute with the hybrid release of “Black Widow” on Disney+ Premier Access and in cinemas.  Many had questioned if Disney would be working with her on any future projects.

Not only is she working with Disney as a producer on a film based on the Walt Disney World attraction, “Tower Of Terror”, but there is also another non-Black Widow related project currently in development.

During the tributes, Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige said:

“We are already working with Scarlett on another non-Black Widow related top-secret Marvel Studios project with her as a producer.  Scarlett is one of the most talented, versatile and beloved actors of our time. It has truly been a pleasure to work with someone of her caliber. From those epic training sessions preparing for the hallway fight in Iron Man 2, to the around-the-world press tour in Avengers: Endgame to partnering with you as a producer on Black Widow, working with you Scarlett has truly been one of the most memorable and rewarding collaborations of my career.”

No details have been revealed on what Marvel Studios project she is working on.  The fact that Kevin Feige mentioned that it is a non-Black Widow related project does open what it could be.

Could it involve Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova character, or a potential “A-Force” or “Thunderbolts” film or Disney+ series?  Other ideas are that it could be an animated Disney+ series or film.  Right now, any guesses could be correct.

What would you like to see Scarlett Johansson working on at Marvel Studios?
