New details on the upcoming Rogue One prequel series featuring Captain Cassian Andor and K2SO have been revealed by the Illuminati.

A new synopsis for the show says:

“Follows the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor, which he originated in the 2016 film. The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.”

This synopsis doesn’t give any plot details but it does show the series will have a “spy” theme, which fits the character we saw in the Rogue One movie.

No release date for this series has yet been announced, though it’s expected to arrive sometime in 2021.
