When Are New Episodes Of “Queens” Coming To Disney+ (UK/Ireland)
“Queens” is the latest drama series from ABC and follows a fractured girl group living in the shadows of their once prominent hip-hop dynasty. Which will be released exclusively in the UK and Ireland on Disney+ in 2022.
Estranged and out of touch, these four women in their 40s as they reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had as the Nasty Bitches—their ‘90s group that was once regarded as one of the greatest girl groups of their generation following the release of a chart-topping single, “Nasty Girl.”
“Queens” stars Eve as Brianna aka Professor Sex, Naturi Naughton as Jill aka Da Thrill, Nadine Velazquez as Valeria aka Butter Pecan, Taylor Selé as Eric Jones, Pepi Sonuga as Lil Muffin and Brandy as Naomi aka Xplicit Lyrics.
ABC Signature produces the series. The pilot episode was written by Zahir McGhee and directed by Tim Story. Zahir McGhee, Sabrina Wind and Tim Story are executive producers. Swizz Beatz is an executive music producer. The series will be filmed in Atlanta.
When Will New “The Wonder Years” Episodes Be Released On Disney+?
Disney has announced that the new ABC original series, “Queens”, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland from Wednesday 19th January 2022, and new episodes will be released each week.
Here’s a list of when each of the episodes will be released on Disney+ in the UK & Ireland:
- Episode 1 – Wednesday 19th January 2022
- Episode 2 – Wednesday 26th January 2022
- Episode 3 – Wednesday 2nd February 2022
- Episode 4 – Wednesday 9th February 2022

Sometimes episodes can arrive a few minutes later as the servers update. The Disney+ front page usually updates about an hour later.
Will “Queens” Be Released Disney+ in Australia, New Zealand and Canada?
As with other new ABC series, the series is also currently being released weekly on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand. While “Queens” is available on Hulu in the United States.
In Canada, “Queens” is currently airing on CTV, so I’d expect the series to follow other ABC shows and be released on Disney+ once it’s finished its initial run on CTV.
Is “Queens” on Netflix?
ABC make this series, so it will not be available on Netflix, HBO Max, or Amazon. In the United States, the series is available on Hulu.
