Disney has recently announced that all five seasons of the hit 20th Television series “Prison Break” will be coming to Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday 23rd February 2021.

“Prison Break” follows Michael Scofield, who is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows, was convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and put on Death Row. Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary, then sets in motion a series of elaborate plans to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Once out of jail, their perils aren’t over — the brothers must flee to escape recapture and battle an intricate political conspiracy that puts everyone’s life at risk.

The series debuted in 2005 and ran for 90 episodes across five seasons, all of which will be available on Disney+.

“Prison Break” will be one of the hundreds of launch titles for Disney’s new general entertainment brand “Star”, which will be the sixth brand of Disney+.  It will include shows and movies from 20th Century Studios, FX, ABC, Searchlight Pictures and more.
