At last years D23 Expo, Disney announced a brand new Phineas and Ferb Disney+ Original movie will be called, “Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe”, which is due to arrive on Disney+ later this year.  The shows creator Dan Povenmire has been talking on Twitter about finishing off the movie from home.

A new tie-in book has been listed on Amazon in Mexico, giving more details on the movie, including this synopsis:

Phineas, Ferb, Perry the Platypus, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz are back for an interstellar adventure in this chapter book based on the new Disney+ original movie. When Candace is abducted by aliens, Phineas and Ferb have to team up with Dr. Doofenshmirtz to get her back . . . but what if she doesn’t want to return to Earth?

The book has a release date of October 6th 2020, so that could be a indication of roughly when the movie will be coming to Disney+, since that’s a Tuesday and Disney+ Originals usually drop onto the service on Friday, the book could be available before or after its release.  But it’s likely to be close to that date.

Are you looking forward to this new animated movie?
