With the start of a brand new month, unfortunately, Disney is forced to remove some titles from Disney+  in the United States due to contracts made by 20th Century Fox before the Walt Disney Company purchased them.

This month, the 20th Century Studios film, “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” has been removed from Disney+ and is now available to stream on Starz.

In this sequel, Larry Daley returns, but this time the museum – and the adventure – are even bigger, as he tries to rescue some old friends while the Smithsonian Institution comes alive.

Unfortunately, unlike other streaming services, Disney+ doesn’t inform subscribers of removals in advance.  The film will return to Disney+ in the US, once it has completed its contractual run on Starz.  This is the second time the film has been removed from Disney+.  The good news for international subscribers is that the film has only been removed from Disney+ in the United States.
