Disney has announced that the 20th Century Studios film “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” is coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 2nd April, which is the same day as the original film also is added to Disney. The film is also coming to Hulu on Thursday 1st April.

Once the night guard at the Museum of Natural History, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) is now a successful purveyor of infomercial products. Soon after learning that his museum friends have been shipped to the Smithsonian Institution, Larry receives a distress call from Jedediah, who warns him that four of history’s greatest villains have come to life and are planning to take over the Smithsonian first, then the world. Larry joins forces with friends old and new to stop the quartet’s nefarious plans.

The film was released theatrically on May 22nd, 2009 by 20th Century Fox and stars Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Hank Azaria, Christopher Guest, Alain Chabat, and Robin Williams.

“Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian” is already available on Disney+ in many other countries.
