Disney’s Searchlight Pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming film “Nightmare Alley”, which is about charismatic but down-on-his-luck Stanton Carlisle (Bradley Cooper), who endears himself to clairvoyant Zeena (Toni Collette) and her has-been mentalist husband Pete (David Strathairn) at a travelling carnival, he crafts a golden ticket to success, using this newly acquired knowledge to grift the wealthy elite of 1940s New York society. With the virtuous Molly (Rooney Mara) loyally by his side, Stanton plots to con a dangerous tycoon (Richard Jenkins) with the aid of a mysterious psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett) who might be his most formidable opponent yet.

“Nightmare Alley” is coming exclusively to cinemas this winter.  The film is being released in the US and Canada on December 17th.  It will be released in cinemas internationally including in the UK and Australia from 21st January 2022.

Expect this film to be released on Disney+ internationally later in 2022, once its exclusive theatrical window has ended.  Due to it being rated R, it won’t be released on Disney+ in the United States, it’ll eventually be released on HBO Max and Hulu.
