More details on the upcoming Disney+ Original series, The Mighty Ducks, have been revealed by the DisInsider.  Casting is now underway for the series and descriptions of four of the characters have been revealed:

Koob: A shy kid who always plays video games.

Nick: Likes to pretend he has his own imaginary tv show.

Mary: Only described as the popular girl both on the team and at school.

Lauren: An unpopular girl who likes to wear wings and a cape at school and pretend she’s a fairy-magician. Try to be friends with the more popular Mary but she ignores her.

The new series will focus on a 13 year old boy, who gets kicked off the junior Mighty Ducks team and his mom decides to start their own team.

The new series will begin shooting in Vancouver, Canada in February 2020, so it’ll be a while before the series arrives on Disney+.
