One of the current Marvel Disney+ series in development is the second season of “Loki” and according to Deadline,  Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have joined the project to co-direct the majority of the episodes.

The duo has previously directed episodes of “The Twilight Zone” and “Archive 81”, in addition to directing episodes of the upcoming Marvel Disney+ series, “Moon Knight”.  Marvel was so impressed with their work on “Moon Knight”, they’ve been brought in for “Loki” season 2, since Kate Herron is not returning.

In the second season of Marvel Studios’ “Loki,”  Tom Hiddleston will be resuming his role as the God of Mischief and recently, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Owen Wilson have confirmed they are returning for the second season as well.  The second season was confirmed in the post-credit scenes of the season one finale.

Michael Waldron will be returning as the showrunner on the second season.  Eric Martin is also writing all six episodes of the second season of “Loki”.

The first season of “Loki” is available now on Disney+.
