One of the most anticipated new Star Wars series heading to Disney+ is “Ahsoka”, which is a “Mandalorian” spin-off series that will see Rosario Dawson return in the lead role. Ahsoka was initially introduced in “The Clone Wars” animated film as Anakin Skywalker’s padawan and has appeared in both the “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels” animated series.

Very little is known about the series, but now thanks to Deadline, we now know that “Sabine Wren” from the popular animated series “Rebels” will appear in the series and will be played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

She has previously starred in “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Guns Akimbo,” Hotel Mumbai,” “The Voyeurs,” and Netflix’s “The Society”.

Sabine Wren is a Mandalorian, who dropped out of the Imperial Academy and has also previously welded the Darksaber. Sabine Wren loves graffiti, which has already made an appearance in the “Mandalorian” series. At the end of the “Rebels” series, Sabine and Ahsoka set off searching for Ezra Bridger.

“Ahsoka” is apparently set to start production in March, according to a Production Weekly listing.

What do you think of Sabine Wren coming to “Ahsoka”?
