Natalie Morales Upped To “Grey’s Anatomy” Recurring Cast Member
Just ahead of the return of the hit hospital drama, “Grey’s Anatomy”, its been revealed by Variety that Natalie Morales has been upped to a recurring cast member in the 21st season.
The series follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions daily. They seek comfort from one another and, at times, more than just friendship. Together, they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
Natalie joined the show last year, where she played the role of a new pediatric surgeon, who, according to the official description of the character from ABC, Dr. Beltran, is a pediatric surgeon who is at the top of her game and knows it. She’s beloved in her field for her great pragmatism and levelheadedness, and she has a savvy bedside manner with both her little patients as well as their parents. But Dr. Beltran doesn’t always see eye to eye with her colleagues and will let nothing get in the way of helping her kids..
In the last season, Beltran mentored Dr. Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli) in his quest to get a pediatric fellowship. She was also involved in relationships with Winston (Anthony Hill) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), which could be explored in the new season.
In the new season, she will appear in at least six episodes, with an option to appear in more.
The first twenty seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are available to stream now on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. The series is also available on Disney+ internationally. The new season will return on Thursday, 26th Sept. 2024, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, with new episodes available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. No international release date for the new season has been announced yet.
