No plot details on the upcoming Ms Marvel series have yet been announced, with the show being written by Bisha K. Ali, with the show featuring multiple directors, including Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and Meera Menon.

While Thailand has been struggling with a third wave of infections, filming has been able to continue in April and May in Thailand, as the production obtained a waiver to be able to continue. The production has been observing strict anti-virus protocols including closed sets, mandatory masks and face shields on set. In addition to virus testing twice per week, rigidly-separated transport, and controlled air systems.
Production was also divided into three separate bubbles so that if an infection was found in one bubble, the entire show would not have to shut down, and production could continue at the remaining two.
Last year, during Disney’s Investor Day event a teaser trailer for the new series was released.
