Ever since Disney+ launched, Disney has been slowly pulling all of its content from other streaming services, so it can boost up its own platforms.
Recently, Netflix has announced some of its upcoming content that will be removed at the end of the year and there is a lot of popular ABC, FX and 20th Television series leaving Netflix in lots of countries around the world including:
How I Met Your Mother
Sons Of Anarchy
New Girl (Not in the US)
Homeland (Not in all countries)
Grey’s Anatomy (Not in all countries)
While some countries may still have these shows available on Netflix, the majority of these removals are taking place globally.
These shows are already available on Hulu in the United States and are also available on Disney+ in many countries including the UK, Canada and Australia.
To check to see whether these shows are leaving Netflix where you live, navigate to the title on your TV or mobile where, if its being removed, there will be a removal notice that will say “Last day to watch on Netflix: 31 December”
Slowly, as existing contracts expire, Disney is clawing back its titles, positioning them onto their own streaming services, to help boost the amount of exclusive content created by their own studios available to subscribers.
