I really hope they do justice to these shows. A lot seem inspired by the politics of 2020 and while the intention can be genuine, it’s important not to slip into another exploitation wave like Hollywood in the 1980s. While I believe all stories are worth telling, I do hope they give enough thought and hire people from the cultures represented instead of just using an exploitative approach to sell because it coincides with the news. These stories deserve to be told in the most respectful and creative way possible. Also really hoping for some love for classic properties and maybe some originals that are not spin offs. A 2D series of films would be great and low risk for a digital release!
