Back in March, Disney released a new sing-along version of “Encanto” on Disney+ and announced that Disney+ subscribers can look forward to the release of additional Sing-Alongs later this year on Disney+ across a range of titles, including Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen,” “Frozen 2,” “Beauty and the Beast (1991)” and Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast (2017).”

Over the weekend, Disney announced that a sing-along version of the extremely popular film, “Moana”, will be coming to Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Friday 6th May 2022.

Currently, the “Moana Sing-Along” is only listed on the release schedule for Australia and New Zealand. But this will likely be a global release on Disney+, but it just hasn’t been officially announced yet.

“Moana” begins three thousand years ago, where the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped — and no one knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana, a sweeping film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (Auliʻi Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Along the way, Moana fulfils the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.

The film features some fantastic songs, including “How Far Will I Go” and “Your Welcome”, which is one of the reasons why “Moana” is one of the most-watched films on Disney+ every week since the streaming service launched. This is probably why “Moana” will be one of the first films to get a new sing-along version.

Are you looking forward to the sing-along version of “Moana” arriving on Disney+?
