Hot off the heels of the announcements of a new Disney+ series featuring She-Hulk and Ms Marvel, at the D23 Expo, Geeks WorldWide is reporting that Marvel Studios is also in the early stages of development for Miss America “America Chavez”.

She is a runaway from an alternate reality, endowed with strength, speed, stamina and flight, America Chavez made her way across dimensions searching for her place in the universe!

Much like Ms Marvel, Miss America is a relatively new character, as she debuted in the comics in 2011 and went onto join multiple superhero teams including the Ultimates, Young Avengers and A-Force.  This series could be a way of building up to a all female team, A-Force movie or series featuring She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel and more characters.

The character has also appeared in the Marvel Rising series and would help Marvel offer more different characters since she is Latino and a lesbian.

This should still be treated as a rumor, since it could come to nothing, but what do you think of Miss America coming to Disney+?
