Back in October, Disney announced that the adult animated series Marvel’s “Hit-Monkey” was going to be released on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday 17th November, on the same date as to when the series was going to be released on Hulu.

However, the series never showed up on that release date, but today, Disney has confirmed that the entire series will be coming to Disney+ in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Ireland on Wednesday 26th January 2022.

The upcoming Marvel animated series “Hit Monkey” tells the story of a Japanese snow monkey who seeks vengeance after his tribe is slaughtered.  He joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld.

The series features the vocal talents of George Takei, Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Fred Tatasciore.  It’s been co-created and executive produced by Josh Gordon & Will Speck. Executive produced by Joe Quesada.

Yeah, it was sad that it never showed up in October when it was announced. It does happen. Another we never got this month in Australia is the movie Where the Heart Is. I was very interested in this movie upon reading the blurb. I hope it does come soon, everything else announced for that week came on time.
