Disney has confirmed that the upcoming animated series “Hit-Monkey” is going to be released on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday 17th November. This new adult-animated is also coming to Hulu in the United States on the same date.

A new poster for the release of the series on Disney+ internationally has been released.  As you can see from the official poster for the series, Disney has removed any mention of it being a Star Original, instead just focusing the branding on the original series being available on Disney+.

 

The upcoming Marvel animated series “Hit Monkey” tells the story of a Japanese snow monkey who seeks vengeance after his tribe is slaughtered.  He joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld.


The series features the vocal talents of George Takei, Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Fred Tatasciore.  It’s been co-created and executive produced by Josh Gordon & Will Speck. Executive produced by Joe Quesada.

All 10 episodes are arriving on Hulu in the US, it’s not clear if Disney+ will follow the same release schedule or spread them out for weekly releases.
