Disney has officially announced that Marvel Studios “Black Widow” has been delayed once again and will be following the path of “Raya and the Last Dragon”, with a theatrical release and on Disney+ Premier Access.
“Black Widow” will now be released on Friday 9th July. The film was due to be released in cinemas last May, before it was delayed until November and then again to May 2021.

By leveraging a flexible distribution strategy in a dynamic marketplace that is beginning to recover from the global pandemic, we will continue to employ the best options to deliver The Walt Disney Company’s unparalleled storytelling to fans and families around the world,” said Kareem Daniel, Chairman, Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution.
The moving of “Black Widow” also sees “Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” moving back to later in the year, on September 3rd 2021.
In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
