After months of speculation, after it was revealed that Jeph Loeb would be stepping down at Marvel TV, its now been confirmed that the TV division is now going to be folded into Marvel Studios.

This will result in some members of the Marvel TV team moving over to Marvel Studios, such as senior vp current programming and production Karim Zreik, who will oversee the existing shows in production for Hulu, Helstrom and the animated series including Howard The Duck and Offenders.

Layoffs are expected, with a couple dozen employees set to be let go from Marvel, due to a reduction in the amount of shows created.

The Marvel TV division has been behind many series including Daredevil, The Defenders, Cloak & Dagger, Agents of Shield, Agent Carter, Legion, The Runaways and many more.  While some of these series have been successful, they never hit the same level as the Marvel movies, especially since the TV and Movie worlds were kept apart.

This all ties in with the cancellation of many shows in the past year, including Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, Legion and Agents of Shield, plus the Ghost Rider project for Hulu.

Marvel Studios has announced lots of new Disney+ shows including Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Hawkeye and Ms Marvel.  All of which will be interconnected within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, under Kevin Feige.  This will make it much clearer going forward for Marvel fans, with everything being controlled by one division, rather than keeping movies and TV separate.
