After skipping last years San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios looks set to be heading back to “Hall H” for a special presentation according to Deadline. It was assumed Marvel Studios would be skipping this years SDCC event as well, due to Disney hosting its own event, the D23 Expo, in August. Disney have already confirmed Marvel will be apart of the “Walt Disney Studios” presentation on August 24th, to show off new movies, including those from Disney, Pixar and Star Wars.

With no official confirmation of any of the titles of the upcoming Marvel movies after next months “Spider-Man: Far From Home”, it would make sense for Disney to get the word out on the projects they are working on. With a whole phase of Marvel movies to reveal, there is plenty of news to share around and for Disney to keep the PR beats drumming.

Unofficially we know that Marvel is currently filming a Black Widow movie in Hungary and that upcoming movies include Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2 plus two new titles, Shang-Chi and The Eternals. And now that Disney have full control over characters such as Deadpool, The Fantastic Four and the X-Men, its hoped we will get an idea of when these characters will be introduced. Plus Disney could also thrown in a surprise or two with other titles such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and a New Avengers movie.

All of these new Marvel movies will eventually head to Disney+ after they complete their cinema releases and with a number of Marvel shows currently in development for the new streaming service, it wouldn’t be a surprise to learn more about shows like Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki, Wandavision and possibly official confirmation of a Hawkeye series.

Back at the last Disney Investor Conference Call, CEO Bob Iger said that he is “guessing they will announce later this summer.” Which wasn’t a huge surprise with both the D23 Expo and San Diego Comic Con taking place.

Hopefully we will find out more on what Marvel movies and shows will be coming in the future at SDCC, so which movie are you hoping they announce?
