Due to the current Coronavirus situation closing cinemas around the globe, Disney has announced some date changes for its upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Black Widow has now been pushed back from its May release date, to November 6th, which was the Eternals original release date.

This now means Eternals will be pushed back into Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Golden Rings slot of February 12th, 2021.

The domino effect continues as Shangh-Chi moves to Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness slot of May 7th 2021.  That movie then pushes back to November 5th 2021, which was the release date of Thor: Love And Thunder, which is now being relocated to February 18th 2022.

Black Panther 2‘ will continue with its May 6th 2022 date while Captain Marvel 2 is moving forward to July 8th 2022.

These new dates will also give all the Marvel movies more time to finish filming and production.  It will obviously have a impact on when they will be released on Disney+.

However, it’s not yet clear if these new release dates will impact on the Disney+ Original shows including The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki and WandaVision, since these shows are interconnected with the movies, such as Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
