Two new cast members have been revealed for the second season of the Hulu/Star Original comedy series “Dollface”.
Deadline has reported that Luke Cook, who has previously starred in “Modern Family” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”. It’s not yet been revealed what role he will be playing, but it will be a recurring character.
It was also reported that Corinne Foxx, who has previously starred in the Disney+ Original film “Safety”. She will be playing the role of Ruby, the daughter of a music industry mogul who strikes up a friendship with Madison, played by Brenda Song.
“Dollface” follows Jules (Kat Dennings), a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.
The series has been created by Jordan Weiss, is serving as an executive producer alongside showrunner Ira Ungerleider; Margot Robbie, Brett Hedblom and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap Entertainment; Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan for Screen Arcade; Kat Dennings; Nicole King and Stephanie Laing (Vice Principals). Matt Spicer (Ingrid Goes West) is an executive producer on the show.
The first season of “Dollface” is available on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.
