Disney is releasing a brand new collection of five shorts called “Olaf Presents” on Disney+ Day (12th November 2021), which sees Olaf retelling classic Disney films including “Moana”, “Aladdin” and “Tangled”.

Each short is about 90 seconds long and is inspired by Olaf’s scene in “Frozen 2”, which saw him recapping the events of “Frozen”.

During a conversation with members of the press, Josh Gad shared with us how when he was recording. He would get carried away, resulting in some lines that wouldn’t fit in with the tone of the short series.

There were definitely a lot, there were a lot of moments where Jen and Hyrum said, no Josh.  No, no, no  Those were my favorite moments early on, figuring out what the boundaries were.

During the filming sessions, the producer Jennifer Newfield had to reign Josh’s playful side in, which resulted in Josh saying that he wanted to make sure some of the funny lines made it into the short series.

There were a couple of lines that I was like, oh no, no, I’m going to Bob Iger with this one.  I’m going to the shareholders with this one.

While we don’t know exactly what lines were kept in and which ones were non-PG friendly, you’ll be able to see for yourself on Disney+ Day, when all five shorts are released.

Are you looking forward to “Olaf Presents?”
