Disney has announced more celebrity guest cameos for the upcoming Disney+ Original Halloween special, “Muppets Haunted Mansion”, which is coming to Disney+ on Friday 8th October.
In the new Muppets special, which takes place on Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life by spending one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth …The Haunted Mansion.
Inspired by all four of the iconic Disney Haunted Mansion attractions located across the globe at various Disney Parks, the “Muppets Haunted Mansion” includes many hidden easter eggs for Disney fans and “Muppet-ized” sets and props that help immerse viewers in the storytelling experience.
This marks the Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special and features three new original songs, “Rest In Peace,” “Life Hereafter” and “Tie The Knot Tango”, a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together.
Disney+ Big Shot’s John Stamos and Yvette Nicole Brown will both be making appearances in the upcoming Halloween special. Yvette Nicole Brown has quickly become the queen of Disney+ Originals, having also appeared in “Lady and the Tramp”, “The Big Fib” and the upcoming “Disenchanted” film.
Also making an appearance is Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering, Kim Irvine. She is the daughter of Imagineer Leota Toombs, who is best known for providing being Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion attraction.
This is in addition to the huge lineup of celebrities making an appearance including Ed Asner, Justina Machado (One Day at a Time), Craig Robinson (The Office), Skai Jackson (Jessie), Pat Sajak (Wheel Of Fortune), Geoff Keighley (Game Awards), Chrissy Metz (This is Us), Jeannie Mai (How Do I Look?), Alfonso Ribeiro (Fresh Prince of Bel Air), Sasheer Zamata (I Feel Pretty), and Danny Trejo (Machete).
