Disney has announced through its “Season’s Streaming” campaign that the 20th Century Studios animated film, “Ice Age”, is coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 3rd December 2021.

With the impending ice age almost upon them, a mismatched trio of prehistoric critters – Manny the woolly mammoth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger and Sid the giant sloth – find an orphaned infant and decide to return it to its human parents. Along the way, the unlikely allies become friends but, when enemies attack, their quest takes on far nobler aims.

The film has previously available on Disney+ in the United States but was removed due to a previous contract made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox.

“Ice Age” is already available on Disney+ in many countries.

Quick question: Is it coming back to Disney Plus permanently or temperorarily?

Most likely permanently, as usually whenever a title returns to Disney+, it's because its contract with another streaming service has ended.
