Recently, Disney announced a brand new Pixar short called “Ciao Alberto” featuring characters from “Luca” would be coming to Disney+ on Friday 12th November for Disney+ Day.

Some new details on the upcoming “Luca” short have been revealed, as the short will be premiering at the Savannah College of Art and Design Film Festival.  The event is taking place from October 23rd to October 30th, with the premiere of “Ciao Alberto” taking place on Wednesday, October 27th at 8 p.m. at SCAD Museum of Art, Alex Townsend Memorial Courtyard

We now have a synopsis for the short, giving us an idea of what “Ciao Alberto” will be about:

With his best friend Luca away at school, Alberto is enjoying his new life in Portorosso working alongside Massimo — the imposing, tattooed, one-armed fisherman of few words — who’s quite possibly the coolest human in the entire world as far as Alberto is concerned. He wants more than anything to impress his mentor, but it’s easier said than done.

There will also be a Q&A with director McKenna Harris immediately follows the screening of the short at the film festival.

We’ve also got a first look at the “Ciao Alberto”:
