With it being the start of a brand new month, unfortunately, that means in the United States, some titles are temporarily removed and today, both “Fantastic Four” and “Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer”  have been removed again.

Both of these films have now been moved over to Peacock.  This is due to a previous contract signed years ago.

Fantastic Four (2005)

Transformed into superheroes after surviving a disaster in space, The Fantastic Four struggle to reconcile their powers, responsibilities, and relationships as a dysfunctional family. Overcoming their personal conflicts, they finally join forces to defeat Dr. Doom, the malevolent, metallic embodiment of their treacherous former patron.

Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer

The Fantastic Four meet their greatest challenge yet as the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction.

Both movies have only recently been added onto Disney+ in the United States and this follows a similar pattern of some films being only available on Disney+ for a short period, because there is a gap between the existing contracts in place.  This also isn’t the first time “Fantastic Four” has been removed from Disney+ in the US.   Internationally, the film is still available on Disney+.

Unlike other streaming services like Netflix or Hulu, Disney+ doesn’t announce titles that are leaving in advance.

What do you think of Disney+ removing these titles?
