A brand new Marvel Studios series “Ms Marvel” is coming to Disney+ this summer and will introduce a brand new character, Kamala Khan, to the MCU, which will star Iman Vellani in the title role.

“Ms Marvel” is an Inhuman with stretchy powers, though it’s expected that her abilities and origin may be changed for the upcoming series.  Much like with the other Marvel Disney+ series,  no plot details have been revealed on the “Ms Marvel” show.

Ms Marvel will also be a central character in the forthcoming film, “The Marvels”, which will arrive in cinemas on 17th February 2023 and also feature Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau (who was introduced in “WandaVision”).

Recently, filming on reshoots has completed in Atlanta and a recent social media post from “Ms. Marvel” crew member Patrick Favo showed an image of a “wrap” gift, which was a tumbler glass full of confetti that is branded with the show’s logo.  The post has since been deleted.

One thing that was noticeable about the glass, is that underneath the “Ms Marvel” logo, it says “Season One”.

Could this mean there are going to be future seasons of “Ms Marvel” on Disney+?  It’s very possible, as some Marvel Disney+ series are being created as a single limited series, like “WandaVision” or as a show with multiple seasons, like “Loki”.

Disney hasn’t officially announced a second season of “Ms Marvel” and we probably wouldn’t know this until the finale airs or shortly afterwards.

Are you looking forward to “Ms Marvel” being released later this year?
