Today, the finale of Marvel’s “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” was released on Disney+ and recently, actress Emily VanCamp, who plays Sharon Carter in the MCU, spoke about returning to playing the character:
“I love playing Sharon, obviously. Making these movies—and now this show—is so much fun. So, when you get the call it’s always really exciting. With the TV show, we got to delve a little bit deeper into Sharon’s psyche. She’s been gone for a long time. To be able to figure out where she’s been and what she’s up to, I thought was a really interesting concept”
Emily VanCamp has played Sharon Carter in many Marvel films, including “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Captain America: Civil War”. She also shared her thoughts on working with her.
“I have so many great things to say about Kari. I think she’s an incredible person. She’s not only about the visuals, which are incredible, but she really focuses on the characters and the details surrounding what they’re going through. And it’s also wonderful to have some female energy. It’s been a great experience working with her”
“The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” has also allowed Emily VanCamp to explore a darker side of Sharon Carter, which going off the events of the finale, hopefully, means we get to see much more of her in the future.
Every episode of “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” is available now on Disney+.
